Abstract:

Two cases of granulomatous dermatitis due to iron oxide after eyebrow and lip tattooing are described. This is an unesthetic hyperplastic reaction developed after cosmetic tattooing and due to delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction to pigments. This complication, although rare, warrants a skin test before any tattooing.
